  • Are you an experienced Employee Relations specialist who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments? A leading Australian retailer is seeking a Senior People & Culture Advisor to join their Advisory Services team, supporting leaders across a large national store and corporate network.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your ER expertise within a collaborative, well-structured, and highly regarded People & Capability function with a pathway into Business Partnering. 

    About the Role

    Sitting within the Tier 2 Advisory Centre, you’ll act as a subject matter expert on complex people matters escalated from across the business. You’ll provide practical, commercial guidance to people leaders and HR Business Partners, navigating a wide range of ER issues including:
    • Fair Work and Human Rights matters
    • Misconduct, performance, grievances and investigations
    • Interpreting industrial instruments
    • Managing concurrent case loads of 25–30 matters
    This is a telephony and email–based advisory role, operating on a rotating roster between 7am and 7pm (with Senior Advisors doing one 11am–7pm shift per week).

    Working closely with the Head of Advisory Services and team leaders, you’ll also support the development of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Advisors, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and participate in people projects across the wider P&C function.

    What You’ll Bring

    We’re looking for someone who can confidently make decisions, manage competing priorities, and build trusted relationships quickly in a high-volume environment. You will have:
    • Proven HR advisory experience across complex ER/IR matters
    • Experience working in a large, complex organisation where you’ve navigated multiple stakeholders and high-volume demands.
    • Strong corporate office exposure within HR or People & Culture
    • Exceptional communication, influencing and problem-solving skills
    • A customer-centric mindset with resilience and a calm, pragmatic approach
    • Confidence navigating modern awards, policies and industrial frameworks
