We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Career Transition Coach to join a top-tier ASX-listed company in Australia for a 6-month contract
About the Role:
The primary purpose of this position is to work closely with transitioning employees to provide advice and guidance on upskilling and cross-skilling into roles within their occupation, as well as transitioning to new occupations
This includes recommending training and education pathways and providing individualised career coaching and job transition support.

About the Role:
The primary purpose of this position is to work closely with transitioning employees to provide advice and guidance on upskilling and cross-skilling into roles within their occupation, as well as transitioning to new occupations
This includes recommending training and education pathways and providing individualised career coaching and job transition support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one coaching and career planning sessions.
- Assist employees with research and follow-up regarding career decisions.
- Provide recommendations for training and education options.
- Support employees in identifying their “what’s next” after upskilling.
- Maintain accurate data and progress tracking using Excel, SharePoint, and dashboards.
- Collaborate with the broader HR team to ensure a smooth transition process.
About You:
- As the ideal candidate, you may have a background in Learning & Development, HR Business Partnering, Outplacement, Talent Management, or Career Coaching.
- Experience in heavy industry or manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Ability to build trust and relationships with a diverse workforce, including both blue and white collar employees
- Strong persistence and follow-up skills, with the ability to hold individuals accountable while remaining empathetic
- Good understanding of a broad range of industries and vocational education and training.
