Chief HR Officer

Australian owned and operated, this organisation has a proud history and is clearly a leader in its field.  Having enjoyed considerable success in recent years,  the industry is now facing into new challenges and change.  With a new CEO at the helm, a bold new strategy has been formulated to successfully steer the business through the next 5 years and cement its future.  

The new CHRO will partner with the CEO and ELT on this next phase of growth and evolution.  Leading Safety, Culture & People, this role is a critical appointment to advise, lead, challenge, recommend and guide the leadership team and broader organisation through the change.   Whilst functionally managing an HR team of 10, the role will be a leader first, shaping a clear vision ensuring the workforce of 800 are on the journey. 

This role is ideally suited to an individual ready to assume a CHRO role or you may have operated in a smaller role, eager for the next challenge. Ideally you will have gained your experience working within an Australian business whereby you have enjoyed full ownership of the function including the design and delivery of people solutions.  An appreciation of partnering engineering, sales and manufacturing workforces is highly preferred.  Demonstrating equal measure strategic capability and operational execution, you will be a well rounded HR generalist with expertise in IR/ER, organisational change, culture, rewards and capability development.
