About the Role:
As the General Manager, Performance & Rewards, you will play a key role in shaping the organisation’s people strategy, leading the design and execution of performance frameworks, remuneration governance, executive reward, benefits and enterprise-wide reward programs. Reporting to the Chief People Officer and partnering closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you will provide strategic advice that aligns remuneration and performance with business outcomes, culture, and regulatory expectations.
- Lead the strategic direction and operational delivery of performance, reward, and recognition programs, including fixed, variable, and equity-based pay.
- Oversee executive remuneration frameworks, including preparation for Remuneration Committee and Board engagement.
- Drive remuneration governance and compliance, ensuring alignment with APRA, and broader regulatory frameworks.
- Lead and develop a team of remuneration professionals.
- Partner with business leaders to provide insights, analysis, and recommendations.
- Champion a culture of fairness, transparency, and performance accountability.
- Deep technical expertise in executive remuneration, incentive design, performance frameworks, and regulatory compliance within an ASX-listed or highly regulated environment.
- Proven experience influencing Board-level stakeholders and Remuneration Committees.
- Strong leadership capability with a collaborative and commercial approach.
- Practical and hands on approach essential.
- Strategic thinker with high EQ and a strong sense of integrity.
- Ideally experience within the financial services sector.
- Sydney or Melbourne based.
