    The opportunity: 

    A newly created, critical appointment to the People leadership team, this role will design and deliver the enterprise wide Workplace Relations strategy to align with the changing organisational make up and future business goals.  The role will lead a small team with a key focus on coaching and mentoring both the HR community and business leaders on the effective management and resolution of ER cases to minimise business risk and enhance the employee experience.  With a number of EA's in place, this role will, in consultation with the business, determine the best approach forward in terms of drafting, negotiating and finalising agreements.   It will also provide advice in relation to all matters pertaining to the industry award.  

    What you will bring:

    Potential candidates for this role must be subject matter experts across all elements of Workplace Relations with a strong knowledge of contemporoary practices and current legislative requirements.    Specifically you will demonstrate:

    • Technical expertise and proven track record developing an enterprise wide Workplace Relations strategy to manage both IR and ER activities.   
    • Experience gained within complex, customer centric and fast paced industries such as FMCG, Retail, Aviation etc and at scale. 
    • A collaborative style and approach in working closely with the People leadership team in addition to the other COE's and business leaders.
    • Strong business acumen with the proven ability to both develop and operationalise strategic people outcomes to align with business objectives.
    • Previous leadership experience coaching, mentoring and proactively supporting the development of individuals and teams whilst influencing stakeholders across all levels and domains will be required.
