About the Role:
This is a hands-on HR BP opportunity supporting a defined client group across NSW and QLD, with a strong emphasis on employee and industrial relations. Reporting to the Country HR Manager, you will operate as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing end-to-end HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
The role is well-suited to someone who enjoys ownership, autonomy, and working closely with operational leaders in a complex, fast-moving environment. You will partner with managers to navigate ER matters, support change initiatives, and ensure compliance with awards, enterprise agreements, and employment legislation.

You are an experienced Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, or strong HR Generalist, who thrives in operational, blue-collar, unionised environments and is confident managing complex ER/IR matters independently. - Supporting onboarding, offboarding, contract variations, and employee documentation.
- Advising leaders on awards, enterprise agreements and policy interpretation within a unionised workforce.
- Partnering with payroll and HR services teams to ensure accurate and timely employment changes.
- Supporting organisational change initiatives and people-related projects.
- Contributing to enterprise bargaining activities.
- Assisting with recruitment processes and the implementation of global and local HR initiatives.
You are an experienced Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, or strong HR Generalist, who thrives in operational, blue-collar, unionised environments and is confident managing complex ER/IR matters independently. You bring maturity, sound judgement, and the ability to hold your own with senior stakeholders.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience owning and supporting a client group across the full employee lifecycle autonomously.
- Strong ER/IR capability, including performance management, grievances, disciplinary matters and investigations.
- Experience working with awards and enterprise agreements in a unionised environment.
- Confidence partnering with senior leaders and operational managers in challenging, fast-paced settings.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience contributing to HR projects, process improvement or change initiatives.
- The ability to work autonomously while remaining collaborative and team-oriented.
- A professional, approachable style with strong attention to detail.
