    We are partnering with a long-established, family-owned FMCG business that is a recognisable brand within the Food and Beverage space. They now have a highly diversified business model with two distinct sides of the business and 170 Employees, predominantly in Victoria but with smaller teams interstate.

    The organisation enjoys the benefits of long-tenured employees and a deeply-embedded pastoral culture with a focus on quality internal relationships and high performance.

    The Opportunity
    This rare opportunity will allow someone to join an established-but-evolving HR function as they navigate innovations such as AI implementation and market challenges. You will work closely with the HR Manager and be introduced immediately as a Business Partner for both the Executive Leadership team and the wider business. Importantly, this role will be seen as a feeder into the HR Leadership role within a few years, with the opportunity to then build your own team. Thus this role is ideal for someone looking to take that step up in their career and who is patient to learn the nuances of a family business with the view to embedding long-term. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Act as Business Partner for Leadership and Executive teams advising on regulatory and legislative changes that impact the organisation, delivering Lunch and Learn sessions where necessary.
    • Contribute to company-wide initiatives and provide HR in-put. 
    • Support leaders across the business to improve their People Management skills, including those taking people responsibility for the first time and those who need support on navigating ER matters.
    • Provide hands-on support to managers on navigating employee relations, conflict resolution and performance issues.
    • Deep involvement in Performance Review process annually.
    • Lead Recruitment, On-Boarding and Off-Boarding across the organisation.
    Your Profile:

    You are a commercially minded HR professional who brings maturity, resilience and energy. You are comfortable having difficult conversations, navigating strong personalities, and building credibility in a business with long‑standing relationships and history.
    • Solid experience as HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
    • Minimum 4 years' experience in  FMCG, food and beverage, logistics, distribution or industrial environments will be preferred.
    • Strong capability across employee relations, performance management, culture, L&D and workforce planning.
    • A practical, hands‑on mindset – you are happy to roll up your sleeves and get things done
    • Comfort with HR systems and an interest in how AI and technology can support better outcomes.
    • Willing to be on-site 5 days.
