HR Manager - 9 Months

HR Manager - 9 Months

A fixed-term HR Manager opportunity within a large industrial organisation, supporting ongoing organisational design, talent and safety

  • Opportunity to work closely within a high performing national team
  • Eastern Suburbs location
  • Flexible environment - 2-3 days onsite
  • An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to step into a 9 month FTC role within a large and well-established global industrial organisation.  With operations across Australia and an accessible local leadership team based in Melbourne, the business combines technical expertise with a positive, down-to-earth culture.

    The Role

Working within a division of around 200 employees operating across Melbourne and Queensland, this is a hands-on, business partnering opportunity supporting leaders across Operations, Sales and shared services.

Priority focus will be on organisational design and implementation, leading the next phase of structural refinement following the integration of two businesses earlier this year.

The HR Manager will also drive initiatives connected to talent development and leadership capability, actively engage in safety forums (both physical and psychosocial), and manage recruitment where needed.  In addition, the position will play a key role in workforce planning, interpreting multiple EBAs and helping align labour and shift models to operational needs.

    About You

You’ll bring a confident, pragmatic HR background and the ability to operate both strategically and operationally in a fast-paced, industrial setting.

Whether your background is in manufacturing, logistics or another EBA environment, you’ll be comfortable leading change, partnering with diverse stakeholders, and making sound, evidence-based decisions.

    You’ll also demonstrate:

    • Strong organisational design and change delivery experience.
    • Confidence interpreting EBAs and navigating industrial frameworks.
    • Excellent partnering and influencing capability
    • A hands-on, adaptable and outcomes-focused style.
The environment is busy yet collaborative, with leaders who value practicality, ownership and guidance.  Flexible work arrangements are offered, with an expectation of 2–3 days per week on site in the Eastern Suburbs.
