    This is a specialist HR Manager role, working closely with the Director of People & Culture to oversee HR operations and drive process improvement across the employee lifecycle.

    The Role

    Reporting directly to the Director of People & Culture, you will be responsible for overseeing HR operations, enhancing processes and ensuring best practice in employee relations. This is a highly hands-on position requiring strong management process skills and the ability to partner confidently with senior teaching staff as well as lead one HR Advisor.

    Key responsibilities include:
    • Oversee full HR operations from onboarding through to exit
    • Drive process improvements and implement operational efficiencies
    • Support workforce planning and compliance across a complex, regulated environment
    • Manage Employee Relations, including advising on performance, coaching staff and conflict resolution
    • Run workplace investigations when required
    • Partner with senior stakeholders including Deputy Principals, Heads of School and leadership
    • Work effectively without a fully integrated HRIS using smaller systems and manual processes where necessary
    • Contribute to organisational culture by being a trusted, respected voice within the school community
    About You

    You will be a confident and capable HR professional with experience in similar regulated industries such as education, health or banking. You will be equally comfortable managing operational HR processes and leading project-based change initiatives.

    The ideal candidate will bring:
    • Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner 
    • Strong process management and project delivery skills
    • Deep expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution and coaching
    • Strong influencing skills and able to engage effectively with teaching and senior staff
    • Adaptability in environments without fully integrated HR technology
    • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or a related discipline (highly regarded)
