HR Manager
HR Manager
This is a pivotal moment to step into a newly created role and leave a lasting imprint on a Residential Property Development organisation in growth
The role
This is a standout opportunity for a senior HR leader to step into a newly created role within a fast‑growing Residential Property Development business at a defining point in its growth journey. With the workforce approaching 200 employees and continuing to scale, the organisation is building strong foundations to support sustainable growth, performance and culture.
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the business grows.
This is a hands‑on, influential position where you’ll own the full HR remit, work closely with leaders across corporate and site‑based teams, and turn people strategy into practical, high‑impact outcomes.
You’ll have the autonomy to challenge, build and improve — and the opportunity to leave a real imprint on the organisation’s culture, capability and employee experience.
Key areas of focus will include
End‑to‑end HR ownership: Acting as a trusted partner to leaders while delivering pragmatic, commercially sound HR solutions across the business.
Payroll excellence: Leading the relationship with the outsourced payroll provider to ensure accuracy, compliance and a consistently positive employee experience.
Safety, wellbeing and care: Championing safe and supportive workplaces, with oversight of Return to Work programs and involvement in safety and psychosocial wellbeing initiatives.
Employment relations maturity: Providing confident common‑law employment advice and helping the business prepare for future enterprise bargaining as it continues to evolve.
Culture and performance: Designing and embedding people initiatives that lift capability, strengthen engagement and reinforce a cohesive, values‑driven culture.
You’re an experienced, credible HR professional who enjoys working close to the business and influencing outcomes. Ideally, your background includes Residential Property Development or similarly complex, operational environments.
You balance commercial thinking with a people‑first mindset and are equally comfortable managing detail and shaping longer‑term strategy.
You thrive in growing organisations where structure is still evolving, leadership access is real, and your contribution is visible.
You enjoy working close to the business and building trusted relationships with leaders across both corporate and site‑based teams.
