The Opportunity
This is a newly created position, reporting to the HR Operations Lead and working closely with wider P&C function, this role acts as the first point of contact for operational HR queries while owning core HR processes end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities
Act as first-line support for day-to-day HR operational and policy queries across the business
HR Advisory & Operations
- Deliver virtual onboarding and induction sessions for international hires as global expansion continues
- Own end-to-end immigration and visa processes, partnering with external legal providers on applications and renewals
- Review, maintain and support the rollout of HR policies and procedures
- Process employment changes (e.g. salary, hours, role changes) and ensure accurate system updates
- Coordinate payroll updates via a ticketing system and prepare fortnightly payroll reports to ensure accuracy
- Manage and respond to daily HR queries through the service management platform
- Handle low-level policy interpretation, escalating complex matters to HR Business Partners where required
- Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems including HiBob and Culture Amp
- Play a key role in the upcoming implementation of a new global HRIS (Workday), supporting testing, data integrity and change adoption
- Review and improve HR operational processes to support scale, efficiency and a strong employee experience
This role will suit someone who enjoys HR operations, thrives in change and is motivated by the opportunity to help shape a newly created role.
You will bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in an HR operations, advisor or generalist role
- Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments (tech, digital, start-up or scale-up experience preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice
- Confidence managing HR systems, data accuracy and high-volume employee queries
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with a continuous improvement focus
Salary Range:
$85000 - $90000
