Our client is a large national organisation operating within a complex, regulated and fast paced environment. With a diverse workforce across multiple sites and a mix of permanent, casual and contingent employees, the organisation is undertaking a significant uplift of its people systems to support future growth, operational efficiency and improved employee experience. About the Role:
Reporting to the CPO, this is a critical delivery focused end-to-end project contract responsible for leading a HRIS implementation and optimisation program.
Working closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT and external vendors, you will be accountable for project governance, timelines, configuration, data migration, testing, training, change management and go live activities. The role will play a key part in ensuring the system supports compliant, efficient and fit for purpose HR operations across the full employee lifecycle.
Key responsibilities will include leading the project plan and delivery cadence, partnering with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements, overseeing system configuration aligned to HR policies and processes, managing data integrity and migration activities, coordinating user acceptance testing and training, supporting system integrations and reporting capability, and providing post implementation optimisation and continuous improvement support.
About You:
You are an experienced HR systems implementation specialist, HR BP / HR Project Manager with a proven track record delivering HRIS implementations end-to-end within commercial Australian organisations. You bring strong hands on project management capability and a deep understanding of HR operations, payroll processes, compliance and data governance.
You are comfortable operating in delivery focused environments, can engage and influence senior stakeholders, and are able to translate technical system requirements into practical business outcomes. A HR background or HRIS Specialist experience will be important to your success in this role.
