An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner
to join a high-performing infrastructure services team supporting a major joint venture in the utilities sector. This interim contract is ideal for a capable HR professional ready to take the reins on a strategic people function within a complex and high-impact environment.
Reporting to a Head of HR, you’ll work directly with senior operational leaders across a multi-site, mixed workforce commercial environment. Your core focus will be to drive strategic and operational HR initiatives that shape culture, build capability, and position the business for long-term success. This includes navigating change, leading on workforce development, embedding people plans, and partnering closely on employee relations and industrial strategy.
This is a rare opportunity to be involved in one of the most progressive delivery models in the public utilities space, with scope to influence and embed long-term cultural and structural change.
Key Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships across executive and operational stakeholder groups
- Integrate business and workforce strategies within a joint venture and project delivery context
- Deliver hands-on P&C partnering across white- and blue-collar teams
- Lead and advise on employee relations, dispute resolution, change management, capability building, and engagement
- Support labour strategy and EA negotiations across project environments
- Shape and drive a people agenda that’s future-focused, commercially aligned, and outcome-driven
- Proven success in a P&C Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role in complex, multi-site environments
- Experience in large-scale, fast-paced, white and blue-collar environments is highly regarded
- Strong background in employee relations, capability planning, and cultural change
- Ability to lead in ambiguity and drive practical outcomes with empathy and influence
- High-level communication, problem-solving solving and organisational skills
- Business-savvy with curiosity and commitment to understanding how your client group operates
- Confident in managing projects and able to work independently
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
