  • L&D Consultant (6-Month Contract) - Melbourne
    Are you an experienced Learning & Development professional looking for a high-impact, enterprise-wide role? We’re seeking a motivated L&D Consultant to join a collaborative, values-led team in Melbourne for a 6-month period, supporting key capability initiatives while a senior team member is on a career break.

The organisation operates across Australia, Europe, North America, and Asia, offering a high-performing, international environment. This role sits within a People & Culture team driving significant enterprise-wide capability initiatives and leadership development programs.

    The Role
    As L&D Consultant, you’ll focus on delivering and executing learning and capability initiatives across the enterprise. This is less about heavy instructional design and more about ensuring programs are embedded effectively, facilitated professionally, and aligned to the organisation’s culture and strategy.

    Key responsibilities include:
    • Leading and supporting enterprise-wide learning and capability projects
    • Conducting learning needs analysis and translating findings into practical solutions
    • Managing vendors and procurement processes, including legal coordination
    • Facilitating workshops on performance reviews, development planning, and feedback conversations
    • Refreshing and contextualising vendor-provided content to align with organisational culture
    • Supporting capability framework development at team and business unit level
    • Contributing to initiatives such as leadership development programs, trust campaigns, purpose and EVP projects, and female representation initiatives
    • Collaborating effectively across global time zones and with senior stakeholders
    What We’re Looking For
    • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams
    • High-level stakeholder management capability with credibility at senior levels
    • Experience in learning needs analysis and program execution
    • Vendor management and procurement experience, including legal processes
    • Facilitation skills for leadership and development sessions
    • Ability to adapt content to suit organisational context
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-standards environment
    • Global exposure and comfort working across cultures and time zones
    Practical Details
    • Contract Duration: 6 months (Melbourne-based)
    • Salary: $130,000–$150,000 inclusive of super
    • Hybrid work model: 3-4 days in office
    • Flexibility for early evening global calls (offset on other days)
