  • About the Organisation: 

    We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development/ Training Manager to join a well known team & brand undergoing significant change. This is a pivotal role in shaping the future of workforce capability and compliance training across production, distribution, and high-risk operational environments.

    About the Role:

    This position is central to ensuring the site’s workforce remains skilled, safe, and compliant during a period of transformation. You’ll lead a small team, manage technical training delivery, and design frameworks that support operational excellence. Your work will directly impact how learning is structured and executed across the business.

    Some of your key responsibilities will include: 
    • Lead a small team of workplace trainers & assessors
    • Drive the design and delivery of competency-based training aligned with the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).
    • Oversee technical and compliance training for operational roles.
    • Develop and execute skills matrices, training plans, and delivery schedules for diverse audiences.
    • Implement and optimise LMS functionality. 
    • Partner with transformation leaders to reconfigure learning frameworks and support organisational change.
    • Ensure regulatory and audit requirements are met through robust assessment and verification processes.
    About you:  

    To be successful for this opportunity you will need:  
    • Proven experience in technical training environments (mining, FMCG, energy, manufacturing or similar).
    • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to lead and coach a team while maintaining day-to-day training delivery.
    • Hands-on experience with LMS administration and design.
    • TA qualification and deep understanding of end-to-end learning processes.
    • Comfortable working in high-risk, compliance-driven settings – not customer service or soft skills focused.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a related field  (preferred)
