A leading national not-for-profit organisation passionate who is seeking a capable People & Culture Business Partner to join its collaborative and values-driven team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a purposeful organisation delivering specialised education across multiple states.
This position sits within the People, Culture team and reports directly to the Chief People Officer. As the HR Business Partner for the Education division, you’ll work closely with school Principals and teachers across a national school network. You’ll provide operational HR support to teaching teams—spanning employee relations, workforce planning, and leadership development.
This is a hands-on, impactful role with the support of HR internal Centres of Excellence. You’ll play a key part in enabling leadership capability, driving people performance, and supporting a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with school Principals and teachers to support all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
- Provide timely and expert advice on performance management, award interpretation, and compliance.
- Work across projects focused on workforce capability, safety, wellbeing, and organisational development.
- Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition and OD to implement effective talent, leadership and workforce strategies.
- Deliver employee relations guidance, ensure policy compliance, and support change initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in a HR Business Partner or generalist HR advisory role.
- Proven capability in ER/IR and performance management in complex, highly regulated sectors
- Ideally, sector experience education, disability services, or similar human services industries, or a professional passion for these industries.
- Empathetic, pragmatic, and able to build trusted relationships across diverse teams.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline.
- Current driver’s licence and ability to travel locally as required.
