About the Role:
You’ll work as a trusted partner to site leaders, helping them navigate people challenges and align workforce strategies with business needs. Alongside day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll also contribute to broader HR projects that support engagement, capability, and culture.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Partner with site-based leaders to align people practices with operational goals
- Handle complex employee & industrial relations matters independently, conducting thorough investigations
- Support leaders with coaching conversations, performance reviews, and attendance management
- Navigate and apply EA provisions in unionised environments
- Contribute to and lead initiatives focused on engagement, leadership development, and process improvement
To be successful for this opportunity you will need:
- Experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within an operational or industrial/blue-collar setting
- Confidence in managing ER/IR matters and working in unionised environments
- A practical mindset with the ability to apply HR theory in a real-world context
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a related field (preferred)
- Be part of a supportive and transparent HR team that values collaboration and accountability
