About the Role:
This is a hands-on role responsible for managing the day-to-day HR function and ensuring compliant, consistent, and efficient people processes across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end recruitment coordination, including job ads, position descriptions, interview scheduling, offers, contracts, and reference checks
- Managing employee onboarding, probation reviews, performance reviews, performance management, grievances, and exits
- Providing practical HR advice to leaders on policies, awards, contracts, and employee relations matters
- Managing workplace investigations and disciplinary processes as required
- Drafting, updating, and maintaining HR policies, procedures, templates, and employee documentation
- Ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation and awards
- Managing and maintaining the HRIS, employee records, and reporting
- Supporting leaders with day-to-day people matters and employee queries
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 4+ years’ experience in an HR Generalist or HR Manager role
- Experience working as a standalone HR practitioner or within a small to mid-sized business
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and awards
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to HR delivery
- Confidence handling employee relations and performance matters independently
- Clear communication skills and the ability to build trust with managers and employees
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
