Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, this is a broad, varied, and genuinely career-building role. You’ll be the go-to support across all things people — from recruitment and onboarding to wellbeing, performance, and engagement — in a business where no two days look the same.
What you’ll be doing
As the right hand to a highly regarded Head of P&C, you’ll help bring structure, process, and great employee experiences to a growing team of over 100 employees across head office, warehouse, and showrooms nationally.
Your week could include:
- Running end-to-end recruitment for showroom, warehouse, and support roles
- Preparing contracts, coordinating onboarding, and managing employee data
- Supporting performance and development activities, including reviews and coaching conversations
- Assisting with training coordination and wellbeing initiatives
- Helping refine HR policies and processes
- Getting involved in engagement activities, social events, and safety initiatives
- Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement across the P&C function
About You
You’re a confident and organised People & Culture Coordinator or Advisor who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments. You’re approachable, pragmatic, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves — equally comfortable chatting with warehouse staff or presenting to senior leaders.
You’ll bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in a generalist or HR coordination role
- Strong organisation and initiative – you make things happen
- A down-to-earth, solutions-focused approach
- Excellent communication skills and sound HR fundamentals
- A genuine interest in people and business — you like seeing how things work
