We’re looking for a People Business Partner to support the Retail & Marketing portfolio, working with ~130 employees across Sales, Marketing, and Design. This role is high-touch and stakeholder-driven, providing coaching, strategic advice, and hands-on support to managers and teams that thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key responsibilities:
We’re looking for a People Business Partner to support the Retail & Marketing portfolio, working with ~130 employees across Sales, Marketing, and Design. This role is high-touch and stakeholder-driven, providing coaching, strategic advice, and hands-on support to managers and teams that thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with managers to deliver people strategies and operational HR support
- Coach and support high-performing teams, navigating complex dynamics
- Drive organisational development initiatives and embed company values
- Influence and advise stakeholders, balancing advocacy with constructive challenge
- Support performance management, succession planning, and talent development
- Contribute to workforce planning and help managers anticipate team needs
- Provide guidance on policy, compliance, and employee relations matters
- Strong HR knowledge, including employee/industrial relations, Awards, Agreements, and employment legislation
- Experience providing high-level advice and support to managers and leaders
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships across diverse teams
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and consultation skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment and able to reprioritise quickly
- Hands-on approach: able to “roll up sleeves” and support managers practically
- Data literacy to interpret people metrics and inform decision-making
- Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline
- Previous experience in retail, marketing, or customer-facing environments is desirable but not essential
Salary Range:
$140000 - $150000
