People & Culture Leader - Contract
Our client is a Purpose-driven community services organisation that now has an urgent requirement for a strong HR generalist who can work in a hands-on capacity with HR operations and contribute to strategic organisational projects.
This role is five days per week, working from Chatswood, for initially 1 to 3 months, with an immediate start on offer. You must be flexible in continuing into ongoing work as required, if extended or the contract results in a permanent opportunity.
This contract will make a meaningful difference to the People operations and agenda across the business, focusing on high-impact positive organisational growth plans, and coming in as a BAU additional pair of hands during some movement in the team.
As an additional member of the P&C team to complement the existing HR team capacity, you will report to the Executive Director of People and Culture and work directly with key stakeholders and leaders.
This role will also be operational, with varied responsibilities across all aspects of HR, including handling day-to-day HR matters and escalations, with general collaborative support to the broader HR team on employment life-cyle operations.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Experience as a strong HR generalist at the senior P&C Business Partner or Managerial level, ideally in large complex community services, of For Purpose multi-site organisations.
- Experience across all facets of HR, including business partnering, both strategically and operationally
- Demonstratable skills in managing constructive workplace relations from within highly regulated environments, with positive outcomes.
- Collaborative team player approach, and can hit the ground running, with the ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence results.
- Project Management experience is essential, influencing without authority, and building strong trusted relationships with credibility.
- Ability to handle high workloads, with competing priorities.
- Skills in a real ‘doing’ role, as well as a strategic advisory role, so, the ability to be versatile and flex up and down is important.
- Readiness to be part of a high-performing and values-driven HR team with an inclusive and supportive culture.
