People & Culture Systems & Reporting Manager

12 month FTC based in Melbourne CBD - ideally a December start
  • Leading Professional Services firm leading the way in progressive HR
  • The Opportunity

With ongoing transformation in professional services, the importance of enabling people, platforms and performance is paramount. This is a pivotal leadership role within a national People & Culture function, focused on driving best-practice HR systems and evidence-based reporting to empower decision-making and enhance business agility.

Reporting to the P&C Director, you will take carriage of the systems architecture and reporting strategies that underpin a forward-thinking HR environment. You’ll work across boundaries, influencing and connecting stakeholder groups from IT to Talent, Payroll, and client-facing teams to deliver solutions that genuinely move the dial.

This role is all about leading with purpose, championing next-generation HR technologies, and leveraging insights that empower business leaders. You'll shape priorities for digital optimisation, nurture partnerships with vendors, and cultivate continuous improvement in a space where data integrity is non-negotiable.

    What You'll Do
    • Set and execute the vision for P&C systems, partnering internally to lift technology capability and integration.
    • Own relationship management and uplift planning for key platforms and subscriptions, ensuring best-in-class solutions for the business.
    • Design, embed, and optimise workflows that streamline processes, improve the employee experience, and drive compliance.
    • Build strong alliances across IT, Finance, and client-facing teams, promoting shared learning and smooth systems connectivity.
    • Uplift reporting standards—designing real-time dashboards and analytic tools that tell a compelling story.
    • Lead and mentor, coaching team members to stretch, grow, and contribute to a dynamic P&C leadership group.
    • Champion change and best practice; harness opportunities in AI and automation to future-proof capability.
    • Engage regularly across the business and externally with HR networks, bringing back meaningful insights to shape the team's approach.
    About You
    • You bring at least 5 years in P&C technology, operations, or reporting—ideally in professional services.
    • You’re adept at HRIS and relevant apps, comfortable leading system implementations and building stakeholder confidence.
    • You have genuine curiosity for tech-enabled ways of working, and an instinct to explore how AI and automation can lift team impact.
    • You demonstrate commercial acumen, service orientation, and an unfailing commitment to high standards in data, governance, and reporting.
    • You communicate with warmth and clarity, know how to influence, and thrive as both leader and collaborator.
    • You bring creativity, insight, and integrity to day-to-day challenges, always lifting others as you lead.
Why Join? Join a highly regarded professional services firm with a reputation for progressive HR, innovative technology and enduring values. Guided by a collaborative leadership team, you’ll find real opportunity to make an impact, stretch your capability and help lead the evolution of HR in a changing market.
