We're looking for a proactive, hands-on People Partner to join a lean but highly capable People & Culture team for a 6-month contract with an impactful community services provider.
You will be joining a growing and evolving organisation working with passionate health and community service professionals. You'll be stepping into a team that values collaboration, open communication, and a down-to-earth, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
You'll also have the opportunity to influence change during a period of transformation across the Group, supporting young leaders, developing capability, and having a real impact on employee experience.

In this varied and people-centred role, you will:
- Partner with leaders across multiple sites, coaching a (largely young) leadership cohort in best-practice people management, de-escalation, and supporting team member wellbeing.
- Provide responsive, flexible generalist HR support across performance, employee relations, engagement, remuneration reviews, and talent development.
- Manage a small employee case load with many issues resolved informally—this is a non-unionised environment where early intervention is key.
- Support teams of health professionals who work in high-demand environments, helping leaders proactively manage burnout and team wellbeing.
- Assist with integration activities for potential new acquisitions.
- Contribute to group-wide People initiatives, engagement surveys, and continuous improvement activities.
We're seeking someone who is:
- Flexible, proactive, and comfortable working in ambiguity—critical in the current environment.
- A genuine team player with strong communication and the ability to build trust quickly.
- A coach and advisor who enjoys building capability in young or emerging leaders.
- Confident operating across all levels of the organisation and able to "nip issues in the bud" early.
- Solutions-focused, pragmatic, and willing to roll up their sleeves.
