People Systems & Analytics Manager
New year, new role! Add immediate value in this short term contract with a well known tech leader!
We are seeking an experienced Interim People Systems & Analytics Manager to provide strategic cover to ensure business continuity and maintain momentum across critical people analytics initiatives following a recent departure. The successful candidate will step into a highly visible role, working closely with senior stakeholders to stabilise, review, and advance key capabilities.
This is a hands-on, outcomes-focused engagement suited to a senior practitioner who can quickly assess current-state maturity, provide clear recommendations, and deliver tangible improvements within a defined timeframe.
This interim engagement will focus on three critical outcomes:
Operational Excellence
- Lead a review of the people analytics operating model
- Assess how requirements are prioritised and delivered for the business
- Evaluate stakeholder engagement and service delivery effectiveness
- Provide practical recommendations to improve responsiveness, clarity, and value delivery
Technical Reporting Review
- Conduct a deep-dive review of the current reporting ecosystem built on Workday and Power BI
- Assess data models, visualisation design, usability, presentation layers, and user experience
- Identify opportunities to improve insight quality, adoption, and decision support
Strategic Roadmap Development
- Review and refine the people analytics roadmap, with a focus on migrating sensitive HR data to Databricks
- Provide recommendations on data architecture, governance, and security
About You
We are looking for a senior, credible people analytics professional with real-world delivery experience. Industry background is flexible, what matters most is your ability to quickly understand complex environments and deliver the three outcomes above.
Key experience and capabilities include:
- Proven experience leading people analytics or HR analytics functions in complex organisations
- Strong operational and stakeholder management capability, including working with senior leaders
- Deep hands-on experience with Workday reporting and Power BI
- Practical knowledge of modern data platforms, including Databricks
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and handling sensitive HR data
- Ability to provide clear, pragmatic recommendations and execute at pace
