Are you passionate about supporting injured employees in their journey back to work? We’re seeking a dedicated Return to Work Coordinator for a 6-month fixed-term contract to help a close-knit team through a busy period.
About the Role:
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will manage workers' compensation claims and facilitate safe, timely, and sustainable return-to-work outcomes for a national, multi-site business.
Day to day, you will be responsible for:
- End-to-end management of workers' compensation and rehabilitation cases
- Maintaining contact with injured employees.
- Ensuring all claims and claim files are maintained to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and statutory authorities.
- Developing and implementing return-to-work plans
- Liaising with medical professionals, insurers, and internal stakeholders
- Providing expert advice and training on injury management
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have at least 3 years of experience across Worker’s Compensation and Return to Work processes, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Additionally, you will demonstrate the following:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Completed accredited Return to Work Coordinator (RTWC) course.
- Strong knowledge of workers' compensation legislation
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and case management skills.
