About the Role:
This is a 4‑month timesheet contract supporting the organisation’s Injury Management function.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of approximately 30 return‑to‑work cases, with ongoing guidance and escalation support from the Injury Management Lead.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individual return‑to‑work plans in collaboration with employees, managers, treating practitioners, and insurers.
- Tracking and documenting case progress, maintaining detailed and accurate case notes, and escalating barriers proactively.
- Coordinating recovery‑at‑work activities, including identifying suitable duties, facilitating case conferences, and supporting workplace assessments.
- Ensuring rehabilitation assessments occur and supporting employees through treatment, rehabilitation programs, and return‑to‑work pathways.
- Advising managers and staff on injury management procedures and expectations.
- Gathering and distributing case‑specific information in line with legislative and organisational privacy requirements.
- Attending stakeholder meetings, actioning outcomes, and conducting regular reviews based on injury‑specific timelines.
- Visiting organisational sites as required to meet with impacted employees and support leaders in managing workplace injuries effectively.
- Experience in Return to Work Coordination, Injury Management, Workers Compensation, WHS, or a related function.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to support conversations across employees, managers, treating providers, and insurers.
- Empathetic, supportive, and confident navigating sensitive and complex cases.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Knowledge of injury management legislation, recovery‑at‑work principles, and best‑practice documentation standards.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a hybrid environment.
- 4‑month timesheet contract.
- Hybrid working : 2 days onsite, 3 days WFH.
- Support from an experienced Injury Management Lead.
