About the Organisation:
Our client is a prestigous national organisation with a varied workforce, consisting of highly qualified professionals. The organisation is currently undertaking an organisational change journey, with the their People and Culture function as the key leader within the organisational optimisation and transformation.
This role is located in the heart of Sydney's CBD, is offered on a 12 month FTC, and has a chance to extend or go permanent. Hybrid flexibility on offer with one day WFH.
About the Role:
This is a senior HR Business Partner contract role created to support an ambitious transformation agenda and provide additional capacity to an established strategic partnering team.
Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnering, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders while supporting the delivery of complex workforce initiatives across designated business areas.
You will partner closely with executive and senior leadership teams to align workforce strategy with organisational objectives. This includes supporting organisational design activity, workforce planning, leadership capability development and employee engagement initiatives.
In addition to business partnering responsibilities, this role will play an important role in supporting organisational change programs linked to large transformation projects. You will have the support from the broader HR operations and specialist teams to ensure people initiatives are delivered effectively across the organisation.
This role requires someone comfortable operating in a high change environment where strategic thinking and practical delivery are equally important. You will be expected to contribute to both strategic discussions with senior stakeholders and hands on implementation of people initiatives across the organisation, whilst working operationally as a trusted partner, advising and being involved in matters across the employee life cycle.

You are an experienced HR Business Partner with strong capability operating within large, complex and changing commercial or corporate environments. You bring credibility with senior leaders and are confident navigating sensitive workforce matters while maintaining a pragmatic and commercially focused approach.

- Demonstrated experience supporting organisational change, restructures or transformation programs.
- Ability to translate business strategy into practical people initiatives
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
- Strong judgement when navigating complex people matters and organisational priorities.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands on delivery.
