A varied BP role supporting a diverse stakeholder cohort delivering operational support and driving people initiatives.

  • We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior P&C Business Partner to work closely with senior leaders to shape and deliver contemporary people strategies.

    This is a highly collaborative role where you will work alongside people leaders to strengthen workforce capability, enhance employee experience, and drive impactful people programs across the employee lifecycle.
      
    About the Role
    • Provide strategic advice and support to the Chief Human Resources Officer on contemporary people strategies and initiatives aligned with the organisation’s People Plan.
    • Partner with and coach people leaders on key people priorities including workforce planning, talent management, learning and organisational development, organisation design, leadership development, remuneration and reward, diversity and inclusion, and change management.
    • Empower leaders to effectively lead, manage and develop their teams by providing guidance on both strategic and operational people matters.
    • Support leaders to actively participate in people initiatives across the full employee lifecycle, helping to strengthen workforce capability, engagement, and employee experience.
    • Champion and lead change initiatives by partnering with leaders to develop business cases, support people programs, and make commercially sound investment decisions.
    • Drive successful change outcomes through the consistent application of change methodologies, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and leader coaching.
    • Develop a deep understanding of the needs of your portfolio and translate these into contemporary people solutions delivered in partnership with the broader People & Culture team.
    • Lead and deliver projects with well-defined plans that align people initiatives to business needs and strategic objectives.
    • Act as a key conduit between stakeholders and the People & Culture Centres of Excellence, sharing insights that inform the design and delivery of programs aligned with business needs.
    • Lead or contribute to organisation-wide people initiatives such as engagement surveys, performance reviews, and talent development programs.
       
    About You
    You are a trusted advisor who enjoys partnering with leaders to solve complex people challenges and drive meaningful organisational change. You bring strong business partnering capability and are confident navigating both strategic conversations and practical implementation.
    You will also bring:
    • Proven experience in HR/People & Culture Business Partnering within a complex organisation
    • Capability in strategic workforce planning, organisational development, and change management
    • Experience coaching and influencing senior leaders
    • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
    • Experience leading people initiatives and projects from concept to delivery
    • The ability to translate business needs into practical, people-focused solutions
