Looking for a short term contract to jump into while in between roles? If so, then this could be the role for you!
We’re partnering with an iconic retailer who’s looking for an Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to step in on an interim basis while they review their longer‑term structure.
This role is all about hitting the ground running. There’s a medium to high ER caseload, so we’re looking for someone confident managing matters end‑to‑end with minimal hand‑holding.
About the role
- Managing ER cases from start to finish, including performance issues, misconduct, policy breaches, harassment and bullying
- Interpreting EBAs and providing practical advice to the business
- Working with Business Partners, and occasionally Risk and Legal
- Knowing when to push matters back to line managers and being clear about what should (and shouldn’t) sit with ER
- Supporting frontline retail employees, brand partners and contractors
- Keeping case records up to date
- An experienced ER Advisor or HR generalist who’s comfortable running their own caseload
- Retail experience is helpful, but not essential
- Someone who can work autonomously and juggle multiple matters at once
- Confident working with EBAs and the occasional union interaction
