People and culture are central to this strategy, and the appointment of a Head of People & Culture will play a key role in further strengthening capability and contributing to a high-performance environment.
About the role:
Reporting to the MD and as a member of the executive leadership team, you’ll lead the end-to-end People & Culture function. You’ll partner closely with leaders to lift capability, strengthen performance and embed scalable people practices for a growing, operational workforce. Leading a team of four, the remit includes the development of a people strategy, talent acquisition, performance, employee relations, safety and HR operations (inclusive of payroll) Contributing as a member of the leadership team, you'll ensure the organisation is well set up for the growth it aims for.
About you:
You’re a pragmatic, commercially minded P&C leader who knows how to operate in fast-paced, operational environments.
You bring:
- Experience in logistics, retail, manufacturing or similar.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to develop and align a people strategy with business objectives.
- A track record of lifting performance, developing capability and ensuring processes and practices are fit for purpose.
- Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and contributing as a member of an executive team.
- Previous experience of leading and developing an HR team.
