About the Role:
This is an HR Business Partner role with a strong focus on Employee Relations, sitting within a collaborative and high-performing team.
You’ll take ownership of a busy and varied portfolio, managing complex ER matters end-to-end and acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. You’ll take ownership of a busy and varied portfolio, managing complex ER matters end-to-end and acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. The role is hands-on and requires someone confident in navigating challenging situations while balancing risk, fairness and commercial outcomes. Key areas of focus include:
- Managing complex employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances, misconduct and performance management
- Coaching and supporting leaders through difficult conversations and processes
- Interpreting and applying awards and enterprise agreements across a diverse workforce
- Managing workers' compensation cases, including return-to-work planning
- Partnering closely with stakeholders to deliver consistent, practical HR support
About You:
- Proven experience managing end-to-end employee relations matters within complex organisations
- Strong understanding of industrial relations frameworks (awards and/or enterprise agreements)
- Demonstrated workers' compensation case management experience
- Confident partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Practical, resilient and calm under pressure, with a solutions-focused approach
- Step into a true ER specialist HRBP role with ownership of complex, high-impact matters
