We are partnering with a national organisation operating in the health, rehabilitation and employment services sector to appoint a People & Culture Business Partner based in Melbourne , supporting operations across Victoria .
This organisation operates across hundreds of community-based sites nationally and delivers programs that help individuals into sustainable employment and improved wellbeing. The environment is fast-paced, practical, and highly operational.
This role will partner closely with senior operational leaders to strengthen leadership capability, support workforce performance, and deliver practical HR solutions aligned to business priorities.
The Role Reporting to the General Manager, People & Culture , you will provide both strategic HR partnering and hands-on operational support while overseeing an HR Administrator .

The Role Reporting to the General Manager, People & Culture , you will provide both strategic HR partnering and hands-on operational support while overseeing an HR Administrator .
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with Regional and Senior Operational Leaders across Victoria
- Coaching leaders on performance management, leadership capability, and people issues
- Managing complex ER matters, investigations, and performance cases
- Supporting talent, engagement, and leadership development initiatives
- Strengthening onboarding and early employee experience
- Using workforce data and insights to identify risks and opportunities
- Ensuring effective delivery of HR processes across the region
You will bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior HR generalist or HRBP role
- Strong ER/IR and workplace investigation capability
- Experience supporting large frontline workforces in multi-site environments
- Confidence influencing operational leaders in fast-paced environments
- A solutions-focused and proactive approach
Working Model
- Location: Melbourne
- Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days WFH (after initial onboarding period)
- Travel: Regular visits to sites across Victoria
Salary Range:
$120000 - $130000
