    About the Role
    This is a unique HR Business Partner / HR Operations role, intentionally positioned to support development and progression. It is ideally suited to:
    • An HR Operations or HR generalist professional ready to step into broader stakeholder engagement and partnering, or
    • An HR Business Partner who enjoys the operational, systems and process side of HR and thrives in high‑volume environments.
    Supporting your own dedicated portfolio of 300 employees, you will partner closely with operational leaders nationally, while managing the day‑to‑day HR operations and employee relations processes. You will report to a supportive and experienced HR Director who encourages learning, provides mentoring and actively supports the development of their team. 

    Key Responsibilities Include:
    • Deliver hands‑on, high‑volume HR operations and transactional support
    • Manage employee relations matters, including absenteeism, conduct issues and lower‑level performance management
    • Partner with operational leaders, regional managers and general managers to provide pragmatic HR advice
    • Support a diverse blue and white‑collar workforce, including award, agreement‑based and unionised environments
    • Ensure compliance with global HR frameworks and international reporting requirements
    • Collaborate with HR Administration, IR/ER, Payroll, Safety and RTO teams
    • Interface with offshore HR support services responsible for elements of transactional HR processing
    • Champion HR initiatives and projects (e.g. engagement, talent or succession planning), with coaching and guidance
    About You
    You are a grounded, practical HR professional who enjoys operational HR and is motivated by learning, development and building credibility with stakeholders.

    You will bring:
    • Strong experience across HR operations or as a HR Business Partner
    • Exposure to operational blue‑ and white‑collar environments
    • Experience in award‑based and/or unionised workforces
    • An interest in developing (or continuing to build) business partnering capability
    • Confidence working with HR systems and processes (Workday experience advantageous)
    • A values‑driven, resilient and relationship‑focused approach
    • Flexibility to accommodate the occasional after‑hours global meeting
