  • We’re partnering with a large, essential service organisation that plays a key role in supporting the community every day. With a diverse workforce and a strong operational footprint, the People team sits at the centre of the organisation—supporting leaders, teams and frontline employees across the business.

    Due to a period of increased activity, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Coordinator to join the team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract , supporting the day‑to‑day delivery of core people processes.

    The role This is a hands‑on, operational HR coordination role suited to someone who enjoys being the backbone of a People team. You’ll provide practical support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate, timely and people‑centred HR delivery.

    Working closely with HR Advisors and Business Partners, you’ll help keep processes running smoothly and contribute to a positive employee experience.
    Key responsibilities
    • Coordinating end‑to‑end employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, changes and exits
    • Preparing contracts, letters and employment documentation
    • Supporting HR advisors with case coordination and administrative follow‑through
    • Maintaining accurate employee records and strong data integrity across HR systems
    • Responding to general HR queries in a calm, professional and solutions‑focused way
    • Assisting with reporting, compliance checks and core people processes
    About you You’re an organised and reliable HR professional who enjoys working in a busy, operational environment. You take pride in getting the details right and being a trusted source of support for the wider team.
    You’ll likely bring:
    • Experience in an HR Coordinator or HR Administration role 
    • Confidence managing HR documentation and employee data
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
    • Clear, respectful communication and a genuine care factor
    • Experience in large, regulated or unionised environments (highly regarded)
