    The Opportunity:

    Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, the People & Culture Coordinator provides responsive, high-quality advisory and administrative support to leaders and staff across the employee lifecycle.

    This is a broad generalist role with a strong operational focus, requiring a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a service-driven environment. Travel between campuses is a regular and expected component of the position.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide phone and email advisory support to managers and staff on a wide range of P&C matters
    • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment administration via an e-recruitment platform, including advertising, correspondence and reporting
    • Manage onboarding, contracts, staff movements, qualifying period reviews and separations
    • Maintain and update HRIS records to ensure compliance with statutory and organisational requirements
    • Support Employee Self-Serve processes and HRIS reporting
    • Monitor and manage compliance records including teacher registration, Working with Children Checks, Child Protection and other mandatory requirements
    • Assist with leave management, return to work processes, WorkCover and OH&S matters
    • Contribute to service improvement initiatives and P&C projects
    • Ensure accurate documentation, reporting and record management

    About You:

    You are a capable and approachable HR professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.

    You will bring:
    • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources (or equivalent experience), including newly qualified graduates.
    • Experience in an HR, administration or customer-facing environment
    • Strong HRIS/ERP capability and confidence in Excel, Word and Teams
    • Experience managing recruitment systems, payroll interface processes and learning management systems
    • Knowledge of Modern Awards and an understanding of WorkCover and Return to Work processes
    • A strong commitment to service, confidentiality and compliance
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
    You will also demonstrate a genuine willingness to understand and contribute to the culture and values of the school.
