    This is a 12 month fixed term contract, immediate or July start for the right candidate. This is a parental leave replacement assignment, located in Sydney's CBD, with hybrid working from home. 
     
    About the Role:

    Reporting to a Head of HR, is a HR Business Partner opportunity supporting a defined client group within one of the organisation’s largest and most commercially significant APAC division. The role sits within a lean and high performing People and Culture team

    You will operate as a trusted advisor to Partners and senior stakeholders, providing both strategic and hands on HR support across the full employee lifecycle. The role requires a strong balance of commercial thinking, sound judgement, and the ability to influence at a senior level.

    Key areas of focus include partnering with leaders on workforce planning, talent and succession, coaching and capability uplift, and managing complex employee relations matters. The position will also play a key role in delivering cyclical HR processes such as remuneration reviews, promotions and performance cycles.

    As a true business partner, you will support organisational effectiveness initiatives, contribute to broader HR projects, and help drive engagement, culture and change outcomes across your client group. The position requires agility, resilience, and the ability to navigate ambiguity within a professional services environment.

    About You:

    You are an experienced HR Business Partner with a strong track record operating within complex, fast paced environments, such as professional services, management consulting, accounting, legal, financial services or similar sectors.

    You bring deep expertise in employee relations and a strong understanding of Australian employment legislation, combined with the ability to provide pragmatic, commercially sound advice to senior stakeholders. HR Business Partners are expected to align people strategy with business outcomes, working closely with leadership to drive performance, engagement and capability uplift. 

    You are confident coaching senior leaders, navigating sensitive situations, and influencing decision making at a senior level. Your style is collaborative, credible and solutions focused, and you are comfortable balancing strategic priorities with hands on delivery across day to day HR matters.

    You will also demonstrate strong communication skills, discretion, and a proactive approach to problem solving, along with the ability to quickly build trust and establish yourself as a valued partner within the business.
