Hands-on, site-based business partnering role based in Kwinana
This is a genuine partnering role for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner who enjoys being close to the operation, visible on site and trusted by leaders and employees.
You will join a well-established industrial business operating in a fast-paced manufacturing and materials handling environment. With a client group of around 200 employees across engineering, production and technical teams, this is a role where people decisions directly impact safety, quality, delivery and overall performance.
The business is evolving, with a clear focus on building leadership capability, improving consistency, and creating a more collaborative and sustainable operating rhythm. This role will be central to that shift.
The role
This is a hands-on, site-based People & Culture Business Partner role supporting a manufacturing workforce of approximately 200 employees. You will act as the primary people contact across the site, providing practical, commercially sound guidance to leaders and employees across day-to-day operations.
The role has a strong focus on visibility, responsiveness and follow-through. You will coach leaders through employee relations matters, support consistent decision making, and help lift leadership confidence and capability over time.
A key priority will be supporting an upcoming enterprise agreement negotiation, requiring strong preparation, clear communication and confident stakeholder engagement.
What you will bring
You are an experienced HR Business Partner who has worked in industrial, manufacturing or operational environments, ideally with strong exposure to frontline workforces.
You are comfortable being on site, working at pace and building credibility through regular presence and practical support. You understand that in operational environments, HR advice needs to be clear, timely and able to be applied in real time.

- Proven HR Business Partner experience in an industrial, manufacturing or operational environment
- Strong employee relations and industrial relations experience
- Practical knowledge of Australian employment legislation
- Experience supporting workforce planning, organisational change and enterprise agreement processes
- Confidence coaching leaders through complex people matters
- A direct, resilient and relatable style
- The ability to build trust quickly across all levels of the workforce
