HR Business Partner within Retail, partnering with Head Office functions.
  • Support Corporate Leadership Functions within major retailer
  • Also have chance to support n EBA Negotiations
  • 4 Days on Site; 1 day WFH

  • We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support a diverse portfolio across Products, Planning, Technology, Risk, Finance and Retail Operations within a large, multi-site business.

    This is a true partnering role focused on helping leaders navigate people challenges, build capability and deliver practical workforce outcomes. You'll also partner with a Distribution Centre leadership team through regular on-site engagement and support.
     
    Key responsibilities
    • Partner with senior leaders across multiple corporate and operational functions.
    • Lead engagement action planning and support annual employee lifecycle activities.
    • Provide advice and coaching on performance management, employee relations and complex people matters.
    • Support leaders with difficult conversations and build their confidence in managing people issues.
    • Deliver organisational design and restructuring initiatives.
    • Lead workforce planning and succession planning activities.
    • Support remuneration review processes and talent planning discussions.
    • Partner with the Distribution Centre leadership team on people initiatives and workforce matters.
    • Contribute to Enterprise Agreement negotiations and preparation for the next EA bargaining cycle.
    About you
    • Proven experience in a HR Business Partner role within a medium to large organisation.
    • Strong capability in organisational design, workforce planning and change initiatives.
    • Comfortable supporting restructures and organisational change programs.
    • Sound employee relations knowledge and performance management experience.
    • Confidence coaching leaders through challenging people matters and sensitive conversations.
    • Experience working in unionised environments and exposure to Enterprise Agreements
    • Practical, commercially minded and able to balance strategic and operational priorities
