You will partner with a nationally dispersed workforce comprising operational, program delivery and specialist teams. The client group includes both office-based and field-based employees, requiring a hands-on business partnering approach and the ability to influence leaders across multiple locations and workforce segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to translate business priorities into practical workforce, people and organisational plans. This is a fast paced environment, so you need to work with urgency and take accountability for the delivery of programmes of work.
- Support geographically dispersed teams, requiring the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across multiple locations.
- Lead and embed core people processes including talent acquisition, onboarding, succession planning, performance and talent management, operating across a casual and permanent workforce in different regions.
- Manage complex employee relations matters, balancing commercial outcomes with compliance and risk management requirements.
- Use workforce data and employee insights to identify trends, inform decision-making and drive organisational improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with People & Culture colleagues and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-wide people initiatives and improve employee experience.
- Proven HR Business Partner experience supporting senior leaders within a large, multi-site or geographically dispersed organisation willing and able to provide long-term strategic and operational support to client groups.
- Experience partnering with operational, field-based or frontline workforces, balancing the needs of dispersed teams with organisational consistency and governance. Exposure to community, membership, education, sporting, not-for-profit, retail, hospitality or other customer-facing environments with large, distributed workforces will be highly regarded.
- Strong employee and industrial relations capability, including managing complex investigations, performance matters, workplace change, consultation processes and risk-based people advice.
- Demonstrable expertise in running recruitment activities and assessment days at scale and pace.
- Success coaching leaders to build capability, strengthen accountability and improve team performance, engagement and culture.
- Strong analytical capability, with experience using workforce data and employee insights to identify trends, influence decision-making and drive practical outcomes.
- Demonstrated expertise in organisational design, workforce planning and operating model change, with the ability to align people strategies to evolving business priorities.
