A part-time HR Manager opportunity within a highly regarded hospitality organisation, partnering directly with the CEO to lead the people function.

The Opportunity
Operating as the standalone HR Manager and a key member of the leadership team, you'll be responsible for providing both strategic and hands-on HR support across recruitment, workforce planning, employee relations, compliance, leadership coaching, learning and development, HR operations and workplace wellbeing initiatives.
Supporting a workforce of both permanent and casual employees, you'll act as a trusted advisor to leaders across the business while helping to drive a positive, high-performing and people-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities
You'll provide support across a broad range of People & Culture activities including:
- Leading end-to-end recruitment across a broad portfolio of operational and corporate roles
- Partnering with leaders on workforce planning, succession and capability initiatives
- Providing coaching and support across employee relations, investigations and performance management matters
- Advising on Awards, employment legislation and HR compliance requirements
- Developing and maintaining HR policies, procedures and governance frameworks
- Managing learning and development initiatives, compliance training and leadership development programs
- Overseeing HR systems, reporting and workforce analytics
- Supporting payroll administration, leave management and broader HR operations
- Managing workers' compensation, return to work and wellbeing initiatives
- Driving employee engagement, recognition and culture-focused programs
- Partnering with leaders to support organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives
- Previous experience operating in a standalone HR Manager or HR Business Partner capacity
- Broad generalist HR experience across both strategic and operational people activities
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters, workplace investigations and performance processes
- Strong understanding of Awards, employment legislation and workplace compliance requirements
- Experience supporting both permanent and casual workforces within fast-paced operational environments
- Strong recruitment, workforce planning and stakeholder partnering capability
- Experience supporting payroll administration, workers' compensation and return to work processes
- Confidence coaching and influencing leaders across all levels of the organisation
- A hands-on and solutions-focused approach
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- The ability to operate autonomously while managing competing priorities
- Partner directly with an experienced CEO and leadership team
- Play a key role in shaping people strategy, culture and organisational capability
- Broad standalone remit spanning recruitment, employee relations, compliance, learning and development, HR operations and wellbeing
- Highly visible leadership position with genuine influence across the organisation
