    A growing private equity-backed organisation is seeking HR Operations support during a significant period of growth and transformation. Following a recent acquisition and strategic shift, the business is investing in its people, systems and processes to support an expanding workforce and evolving operating model.

    Reporting to the Head of HR, this hands-on role will be responsible for building and managing the operational foundations of the HR function. Key priorities include leading the implementation and ongoing management of BambooHR, strengthening HR processes and compliance frameworks, and establishing scalable ways of working that support a growing employee population.

    Working closely with HR, Payroll, IT and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in improving employee experience, enhancing governance and ensuring HR operations can effectively support continued organisational growth and change.

    Key responsibilities
    • Act as the first point of contact for employee and manager HR queries
    • Manage HR administration across the employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, contract variations and employee changes
    • Lead the implementation, configuration and ongoing administration of BambooHR
    • Support the integration of HR and payroll systems and maintain data integrity across platforms
    • Develop, document and improve HR policies, procedures and operating practices
    • Establish and maintain HR knowledge resources and self-service tools for employees and managers
    • Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, consistency and service delivery
    • Manage HR compliance activities including record management, contract governance and audit readiness
    • Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate employee data and compliance requirements are maintained
    • Support reporting, workforce data management and HR operational metrics
    • Provide documentation and administrative support for employee relations matters as required.
    About you
    • Experience in HR operations, HR administration or HR systems environments
    • Exposure to implementing or managing BambooHR or a similar HRIS platform
    • Strong knowledge of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
    • Experience managing high-volume HR administration and employee queries
    • Strong process mapping, documentation and continuous improvement capability
    • Sound understanding of HR compliance and employment legislation
    • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative approach
    • The ability to thrive in a changing, fast-growing environment
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
