About the Role:
This is a true business partnering opportunity supporting a large operational workforce across multiple sites across various states. Partnering closely with senior operational leaders, site leadership teams and key stakeholders, you will provide strategic and practical guidance across the full spectrum of people and capability activities.
Working from the Sydney CBD office and North Western Sydney site, with occasional monthly travel interstate, you will be supporting geographically dispersed locations, working as a true HR BP and delivering on strategically set company-wide investments into new initiatives that strengthen organisational performance, leadership capability, culture and employee experience while ensuring the business is positioned for continued transformation and growth.
Key areas of focus include organisational design, workforce planning, change management, leadership development, talent and succession, employee and industrial relations, technology upgrades, performance management and engagement. You will lead major workplace change initiatives, consultation activities, leadership capability programs and workforce improvement projects while coaching leaders through complex people matters.
This role requires someone who can comfortably move between strategic business partnering and hands-on operational support, building credibility and influence with senior stakeholders while maintaining strong connections with frontline operations.
About You:
You are an accomplished HR Business Partner with experience advising senior stakeholders and frontline leaders within large, complex and matrixed organisations. You bring a strong understanding of blue-collar, industrialised environments, environments and have a proven ability to balance commercial outcomes with practical people solutions.
You have well-developed employee and industrial relations capability and are confident managing complex workplace matters, investigations, performance concerns, organisational change and consultation processes. Exposure to enterprise agreements, union engagement and workforce transformation initiatives will be highly regarded.
You are an exceptional relationship builder who can influence, coach and challenge stakeholders at all levels of an organisation. Your ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment sets you apart.
You will also bring demonstrated experience across leadership development, talent management, succession planning, organisational design and change implementation. Most importantly, you are commercially minded, proactive and motivated by creating positive outcomes for both people and business performance.
Additional Requirements/Benefits:
