People Partner
Join a large national organisation in a highly visible People Partner role supporting executive leaders through growth, transformation, and capability
About the Organisation:
Our client is a large and highly regarded national organisation. Employing thousands of employees across Australia, the business is entering an exciting phase of People & Culture transformation as it evolves towards a more commercial, agile and contemporary people function.
With a strong focus on leadership, capability and organisational performance, the organisation is committed to building a future-focused workforce while continuing to deliver exceptional outcomes for employees, customers and stakeholders. This is an opportunity to join a business where People & Culture is highly valued and increasingly influential in shaping business strategy and performance.
About the Role:
Reporting into the Head of People Services, this is a highly visible and commercially focused People Partner position supporting the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and senior leaders across multiple corporate functions.
Operating as a trusted advisor, you will partner with executive stakeholders to deliver practical and commercially aligned people solutions that support organisational objectives. You will provide strategic guidance across leadership capability, workforce planning, succession planning, organisational design, remuneration and employee engagement initiatives.
This role offers a genuine balance of strategic influence and operational execution. As the People & Culture function continues its transformation journey, you will play an important role in driving change, challenging traditional approaches and supporting the ongoing evolution of people practices across the organisation.
You will also provide expert support across complex employee relations and workplace relations matters, including investigations, organisational change initiatives, restructures, disciplinary processes and employment risk management. Your ability to navigate complexity while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships will be critical to success.
About You:
You are an experienced People Partner or HR Business Partner with a strong track record of partnering at the executive and senior leadership level within corporate environments.
You bring demonstrated commercial acumen and understand how effective people strategies contribute to broader business outcomes. Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, you possess the credibility, communication skills and influencing capability to build trusted relationships quickly and operate effectively in high-profile environments.
You will likely bring experience across leadership development, succession planning, workforce capability, organisational design and employee engagement programs. Exposure to remuneration frameworks, reward programs and broad people strategy initiatives will also be highly regarded.
In addition, you have managed complex workplace relations matters and are confident providing pragmatic, risk-based advice across investigations, performance matters, restructures and employment legislation. You enjoy operating autonomously, remain calm in challenging situations and thrive in environments experiencing growth and transformation.
Additional Requirements/Benefits:
This is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially minded People Partner seeking significant executive exposure and the ability to genuinely influence organisational outcomes. Combining strategic partnering, leadership capability, workforce planning, reward and workplace relations, this role offers breadth, visibility and impact rarely available at this level.
