Senior HR BP, Tech Company, 18 month contract
Senior HR BP, Tech Company, 18 month contract
Lead a high profile transformation agenda, partnering with executives to deliver organisational change, workforce redesign and people outcomes
About the Organisation:
Our client is a well-established Australian-owned organisation with a recognised consumer presence and a growing technology-enabled business model. With approximately 100 employees across Australia and a further offshore workforce, the organisation is entering an important phase of commercial evolution, operating model simplification, technology uplift and workforce transformation.
The business combines entrepreneurial energy with increasing organisational maturity and is seeking a senior People & Culture leader who can help navigate a significant period of change. The environment is fast-moving, commercially focused and highly collaborative, with leaders who value practical advice, strong judgement and an ability to balance pace with appropriate governance and risk management.
About the Role:
This is a highly visible senior People & Culture leadership opportunity supporting the organisation through an 18-month period of transformation, workforce redesign and commercial change.
Leading a People & Culture Coordinator, you will partner closely with the Executive Leadership Team to deliver organisation-wide people outcomes. The role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with responsibility spanning organisational design, workforce planning, change management, consultation processes, employee relations, communications and implementation of business decisions.
You will initially support a significant go-to-market transformation agenda before partnering closely with platform and technology teams through future phases of change. Acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, you will provide commercially pragmatic and legally sound guidance on organisational restructures, consultation requirements, workforce impacts and employee risk management.
This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working in dynamic environments where priorities evolve quickly and where success is measured through delivery, influence and outcomes.
About You:
You are an experienced senior HR Business Partner, Head of People, People & Culture Lead or transformation-focused HR operational delivery and hands-on generalist, with a track record of successfully leading organisational change in commercially driven environments.
You bring demonstrated experience across organisational design, workforce planning, restructures, consultation processes, change communications and employee relations within Australian employment frameworks. You are comfortable advising executive leaders, influencing decision-making and guiding organisations through periods of ambiguity while maintaining appropriate governance and risk management disciplines.
You possess strong commercial judgement, resilience and credibility, enabling you to build trusted relationships with senior executives while remaining hands-on enough to support operational HR delivery when required.
Experience gained within technology, digital, ecommerce, marketplace, sales-led, marketing, growth-oriented, startup or scale-up environments will be highly regarded. Exposure to technology-enabled operating model redesign, business transformation initiatives or AI-related workforce change will also be viewed favourably.
Additional Requirements/Benefits:
This opportunity offers the chance to play a leading role in a highly visible transformation program with direct access to executive decision-makers and significant organisational influence.
The position is based in Sydney CBD. While flexibility exists, candidates should be comfortable operating in a highly engaged, full-presence in-office, and collaborative environment.
Why Apply?
This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact during a defining period in the organisation's evolution. You will join a business with ambitious growth objectives, significant transformation activity and the willingness to invest in organisational capability and change.
For an experienced People & Culture professional who enjoys complexity, executive partnering and delivering tangible outcomes, this role offers the opportunity to lead meaningful change while operating with visibility, influence and autonomy.
