    Join a leading organisation within the construction materials and infrastructure sector, supporting large operational workforces across Victoria and Tasmania on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

    Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering, you will support a workforce that is predominantly operational and site-based, with a significant EA coverage and active union presence.

    You will partner with General Managers, operational leaders and frontline teams to deliver practical, commercially focused people solutions. You'll play a key role in supporting leaders through complex employee relations matters, building leadership capability and driving effective people outcomes across geographically dispersed operations.

    This role covers the full HR lifecycle, with the majority of the focus on employee and industrial relations. This opportunity would suit a seasoned HRBP or HR Manager who enjoys complex case management, investigations and supporting leaders in operational environments.

    Key r esponsibilities
    • Partner with operational and senior leaders across the business to deliver strategic and operational HR support.
    • Lead complex workplace investigations, grievances, misconduct matters and performance management processes end-to-end.
    • Provide guidance on enterprise agreements, employment legislation, company policies and industrial instruments.
    • Coach leaders through challenging employee relations matters while building their capability.
    • Support talent, succession, remuneration, workforce planning and performance processes.
    • Contribute to organisational change, leadership development and capability initiatives.
    • Foster strong relationships with site-based workforces, union representatives and key stakeholders.
    About you
    • An experienced HR Business Partner or HR Manager with a strong track record partnering with operational, industrial or blue-collar workforces.
    • Extensive experience managing complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
    • Strong understanding of enterprise agreements and industrial relations frameworks.
    • Experience supporting unionised and EA-covered workforces.
    • The ability to build credibility with both senior leaders and frontline employees.
    • Strong coaching and influencing capability, particularly around performance and conduct matters.
    • A commercially minded, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
    • Confidence working autonomously, navigating ambiguity and driving outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
