  • About the Organisation:
    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a values-driven and commercially focused HR professional to join a market-leading global organisation as a Senior HR Business Partner.

    Working as part of a collaborative leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping people, culture and capability outcomes across a large operational workforce. Supported by an experienced and well-resourced HR team, you will have the opportunity to influence business performance through strategic HR leadership while remaining closely connected to site operations.

    About the Role: 
    This is an operational role where you will be hands-on, across the employment life cycle, and working within the frameworks of the broader business in balance with the requirements of the site itself. 

    This role provides site-functional Human Resources leadership, support, and direction to deliver the wider HR strategic vision and is responsible for site-based employment activities and matters. Our client is established and growing and operates within an EBA and unionised environment. 

    Managing a small HR team, you will influence and drive an engaged workforce through a range of programs, such as leadership development, employee engagement, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and remuneration and benefits. 

    About You:
    You will be an experienced Senior HR Business Partner, HR Manager or HR Leader with a strong track record operating within complex industrial, manufacturing, operational or unionised environments.
    Ideally, you will bring:
    • Extensive HR generalist experience within large and complex organisations
    • Strong employee and workplace relations expertise
    • Experience working with enterprise agreements, unions and industrial matters
    • Demonstrated success leading organisational change initiatives
    • Outstanding stakeholder management, coaching and influencing skills
    • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate people insights into business outcomes
    • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Relations or a related discipline
    As this is a site-based leadership role, candidates should already be based in the Riverland region or within reasonable commuting distance of Berri and be able to work on-site as required.
