Senior People Partner (12 Month Contract)
Partner with senior & executive leaders on a nationally significant transformation program in a high impact Senior HR BP contract.
About the Organisation:
Our well-known, prestigious client is a highly regarded national organisation operating within a complex, regulated, and high-profile environment. With approximately 1,500 employees and a strong public purpose, the organisation has recently undergone significant transformation across governance, culture, leadership, and operating models. Following a major organisational review, the focus is now on embedding change, building leadership capability, strengthening organisational effectiveness, and supporting the next phase of transformation.
The organisation offers a collaborative, values-driven culture where integrity, accountability, sound judgement, and stakeholder partnership are highly valued. Employees are provided the opportunity to contribute to initiatives of genuine national significance while working in a sophisticated and intellectually stimulating environment.
About the Role:
This is an exceptional 12-month parental leave contract for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner seeking a highly visible and influential role.
Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnering and leading 1 HR Advisor, you will support a diverse portfolio of approximately 400 employees across transformation, program management, technology, strategy, and change functions.
A key focus of the role will be partnering with leaders across a large-scale enterprise transformation program comprising approximately 200 employees operating within a complex matrix structure. As a trusted advisor, you will provide strategic and operational HR support across organisational design, workforce planning, talent, performance, employee relations, leadership effectiveness, culture, wellbeing, and change management.
You will work closely with senior executives and business leaders to navigate organisational complexity, support ongoing transformation initiatives, drive operating model effectiveness, and deliver practical people solutions that enable business outcomes. You will also play a key role in supporting workforce transition planning, capability development, and the successful embedding of organisational change.
This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, with the opportunity to influence organisational outcomes while remaining close to operational execution.
About You:
You are an experienced Senior HR Business Partner who thrives in complex and fast-moving, high-touch, high-impact change environments. You have a proven track record supporting senior leadership teams through large-scale transformation, organisational change, and business-critical initiatives.
You bring strong organisational design, workforce planning, leadership coaching, and stakeholder management capability, together with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively at executive level. You are equally comfortable providing strategic advice and rolling up your sleeves to deliver practical outcomes.
Your experience may have been gained within large corporate, infrastructure, technology, professional services, government, financial services, or other highly regulated environments where complexity, governance, and change have been constant themes.
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
