    Reporting into a senior People leader, this position will lead the organisation's Talent Acquisition function and play a key role in improving attraction, recruitment and onboarding outcomes across a complex, multi-site workforce.

    The organisation is looking for someone who can assess the current state of the TA function, build capability, improve governance and reporting, strengthen stakeholder relationships and introduce more proactive recruitment strategies.

    Working closely with executives, managers and operational leaders, you will help shape workforce planning initiatives, improve hiring processes, strengthen candidate attraction and ensure recruitment processes are consistent, efficient and aligned to future workforce requirements.

    This role combines strategic influence with operational involvement and will suit someone who enjoys building capability, improving systems and driving meaningful change.

    Key responsibilities
      • Lead, coach and develop a small TA team.
      • Drive continuous improvement across recruitment, onboarding and attraction processes.
      • Partner with executives and operational leaders to understand workforce requirements and future hiring needs.
      • Strengthen recruitment governance, reporting and workforce planning capability.
      • Develop innovative attraction strategies for difficult-to-fill and high-volume roles.
      • Build workforce pipelines and explore partnerships with external providers and talent communities.
      • Improve hiring manager capability and accountability throughout the recruitment process.
      • Embed and optimise an ATS and associated recruitment workflows.
      • Monitor recruitment metrics, identify trends and provide insights to support business decision-making.
      • Enhance candidate experience, employer brand and recruitment outcomes across the organisation.
    About you
    • Experience leading or transforming a Talent Acquisition function in a complex, regulated or high-volume environment.
    • Demonstrated success implementing recruitment process improvements, systems or governance frameworks.
    • Strong workforce planning, talent attraction and stakeholder management capability.
    • Experience leading and developing recruitment professionals.
    • The ability to influence senior leaders and build trusted relationships across a business.
    • Strong reporting, analytics and workforce planning capability.
    • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine passion for continuous improvement.
