This opportunity is for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to provide short-term support to the People & Culture team during a busy period. Reporting into the broader P&C function, you will play a key role in providing practical and timely ER advice while helping to alleviate workload pressures across the team.
This position will suit a confident ER professional who is comfortable managing employee relations matters independently and has strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards and workplace compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities
- Provide advice and support on a range of employee relations matters.
- Manage and progress ER cases, including investigations, disciplinary matters and performance-related issues.
- Interpret and apply Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and employment legislation
- Assist with award mapping and classification reviews
- Partner with leaders and stakeholders to provide practical and compliant ER guidance
- Support the People & Culture team with ad hoc employee relations projects and activities
- Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping across ER matters
- Escalate complex issues as required while managing day-to-day case activity autonomously
- Immediately available
- Previous experience in an Employee Relations Advisor, HR Advisor or similar role
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations cases from end to end
- Experience conducting or supporting workplace investigations and performance matters
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and quickly build credibility with leaders
- A hands-on, pragmatic approach and willingness to support a busy team environment
