Driven by big-picture thinking and a commitment to continuous improvement, the organisation is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation.

    About the Role
This newly created role represents a unique opportunity to shape and lead the operational delivery of the People function across the HOYTS Group.
Reporting to the Chief People & Transformation Officer, this role will translate the broader people strategy into operational reality. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent, commercially focused and legally compliant people practices are embedded across a diverse workforce.

The role will oversee talent acquisition, employee and industrial relations, performance management, engagement, learning and development, remuneration, workforce analytics, compliance and HR operations. Leading a multidisciplinary People team, this position will partner closely with senior operational and commercial leaders to drive organisational performance, strengthen leadership capability and deliver an outstanding employee experience across the business.

    About You
This opportunity will suit a People & Culture leader who thrives in complex, operationally focused environments and enjoys balancing strategic influence with hands-on leadership. The successful candidate will bring experience leading HR teams, partnering with senior stakeholders and driving people outcomes across large workforces.

    Key experience includes:
    • Senior HR leadership experience in partnering with diversified workforces, ideally service based or customer-centric organisations
    • Experience leading end-to-end People functions and diverse People teams.
    • Proven ability to influence and partner with executive and operational stakeholders.
    • Strong knowledge of employment relations, workforce compliance and organisational capability initiatives.
    • Commercial acumen and a pragmatic approach to driving business outcomes through people.
    The Why
This is more than a People leadership role. It is an opportunity to step into a newly created position with enterprise-wide impact across one of ANZ’s most recognised consumer brands. Offering significant breadth, visibility and influence, the role provides the platform to shape culture, build capability, elevate people practices and contribute to the future success of a business continuing to evolve and grow.

With accountability across Australia and New Zealand and exposure to both HOYTS and Val Morgan, this role offers a rare combination of scale, complexity and genuine opportunity. For an ambitious HR leader looking to make a lasting impact, it presents the chance to lead a critical business function, partner closely with senior leadership and help shape the employee experience across an iconic organisation.
